We are seeking a radiographer for a permanent position as of February 1 or by agreement.

We imagine that you are a radiographer who is passionate about creating good patient pathways and thrives in a strong professional community. You hold Danish authorization as a radiographer and have an interest in the mammography specialty – experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.

In addition, we would like you to

  • are positive, engaged and contribute actively to good collaboration
  • thrive in a daily routine with variety and development
  • are flexible and adaptable, including regarding work at several sites
  • put the patient first and focus on high quality in task execution
  • contribute to a good working environment and to the education of students and new colleagues

About the Mammography Unit You will become part of the mammography team, Team 6, which consists of 16 dedicated radiographers/nurses, who work both with mammography screening and clinical mammography. There is close interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors and secretaries in the unit, and a strong focus on high quality and efficient pathways.

The mammography specialty includes both screening examinations and clinical mammography, and the function is distributed across several sites. We have a screening unit at Stærmosegårdsvej 6 in Odense, and a screening unit in the Health House in Svendborg. The clinical mammography and diagnostic work takes place at OUH.

With us you will have the opportunity to become part of a strong professional community where development, collaboration and patient focus go hand in hand. We offer, among other things:

  • A thorough introduction and individually tailored training based on your professional competencies and experience
  • An exciting working life with the opportunity to influence and develop your tasks in line with your interests and competencies
  • Good opportunities for both professional and personal development through continuing education, courses and competence development
  • A workplace with high professional standards where quality, development and research are given high priority
  • Dedicated, experienced and helpful colleagues who value collaboration and a good working environment
  • A day-to-day with a high level of activity where quality and patient focus are always in the center
  • Influence on shift planning and the opportunity to shape the placement of your shifts within a 12-week rolling schedule

General information about the Radiology Department The department's activity level is high. We perform around 300,000 examinations per year. We have close collaboration with both surgical and medical specialty departments. Our professional level is high, and the department handles most highly specialized functions.

For improvement management/Virginia Mason is a regular part of our workday. We hold weekly target management meetings aimed at optimizing our workflows.

We have an established research unit in the department that actively works with research and development, and also supports guidance and assistance regarding projects initiated in the various sections.

Since we are a university hospital and a teaching site for radiography students, there is an expectation for everyone to actively participate in educating students and new colleagues.

We focus on the working environment, and everyone has a responsibility to contribute to open, honest and respectful collaboration.

We hold a common Christmas lunch and we have a tradition of participating in various fitness events such as the DHL Relay and We Cycle to Work. We have a free fruit scheme and access to very inexpensive gym facilities and massages.

Organisationally, the department is divided into 8 medical specialties and 6 radiography teams, which you can read more about on our website www.ouh.dk/radio .
