RE-ADVERTISEMENT - Teacher for a reception class at Skjern Folkeskole

We are still enrolling more students in our upper-year reception classes at Skjern Folkeskole. Therefore we are expanding with yet another class and are seeking a teacher who wants to become part of a strong professional and collegial community. The position is full-time and initially until July 2027 with the possibility of extension.

In the reception classes, young people who have recently arrived in Denmark attend basic teaching in Danish as a second language. The students come with different school experiences, languages and academic prerequisites. What they have in common is that they must find a footing in a new school, a new language and a new everyday life.

This is where you come into the picture.

We will cover the full range of subjects in the new class and are particularly interested in teachers with competencies in Danish, mathematics, English, science and practical-musical subjects. Tell us what you can contribute.

If you have experience with or competencies in Danish as a second language (DSA), that is a clear advantage, but not a requirement. The most important is that you are professionally curious and want to work with a pupil group where the teaching requires both clarity, flexibility and attention to the individual.
