Receptionist substitute wanted for Go Hotel City

Are you passionate about service, have high energy and love a fast-paced daily life? Then it’s you we’re looking for as a receptionist at Go Hotels. At Go Hotel City we are looking for a smiley, responsible and flexible reliever to become part of our team.

Go Hotels is a newer hotel chain that is growing quickly, where we work from the slogan of “easy, fast, comfortable” and offer down-to-earth and personal service to our guests. Go Hotel City is a 2-star new-build hotel with 130 rooms and 10 apartments close to Amager Strandpark.

The position is a reliever position with plenty of opportunities for shifts – but without fixed hours.

There will be the possibility to be assigned shifts in advance and at the same time be able to step in for illness / urgent needs. Shifts can be during day, evening and night – both weekdays and weekends.

You must be welcoming, smiling, have service as a middle name and a desire to make a difference for our wonderful guests. You will work together with your colleagues on day and evening shifts, but you will be alone in the reception on night shifts, so it is important that you enjoy working independently and are a good self-starter. You have the opportunity to make decisions directly in interaction with the guest, which means you must be highly responsible and always seek the best solution for the guest.

Duties

• To provide welcoming, cheerful and down-to-earth service to our guests
• Check-in / Check-out of our guests
• Reservations for both individual and group reservations via email
• Telephone service
• Administration by reviewing arrival and departure lists as well as daily follow-up
• Upselling of room upgrades and additional sales
• Billing and cash reconciliation
• Sales from the bar

Profile and qualities

• You are passionate about service
• You preferably have experience from a service profession
• You understand and speak English at an advanced level - you understand Danish, and speak at a basic level - you do not need to speak Danish at an advanced level
• You have a flair for IT – we use the Office suite and Mews hotel system
• You have good energy and a positive attitude – while being proactive and taking responsibility for your workplace
• You are a team player who loves to achieve results with your colleagues
• At Go Hotels we are open 365 days, so we expect that you can work mornings, evenings, nights as well as weekends and holidays
