About the job

Are you our new creative recruitment consultant?

We are not looking for someone who does as we usually do.

We are looking for you who dares to find new paths to the people we have not yet met.

About the job

Do you have ideas that don’t always come via the straight path? Can you see opportunities where others see limitations? And are you keen to get more people to discover how meaningful a job in Disability and Social Psychiatry can be?

Then it might be you we are looking for!

As a recruitment consultant you will be an important driving force in the work to attract and retain talented employees to Disability and Social Psychiatry in Vejle Municipality. We are looking for you who are curious about people, creative in your approach and not afraid to try something new.

You need to find new ways

We don’t believe there is one recipe for good recruitment. Therefore you will play a central role in developing, trying out and evaluating new ways to meet potential employees.

That may be through collaboration with primary schools, high schools, vocational education and other educational institutions. It could be job fairs, events, internship programs, open houses or something completely different that we have not tried yet.

We want to challenge traditional recruitment channels – and we expect you to want to challenge us.

You will help create curiosity around our field and spot tomorrow’s substitutes, pupils, students and employees.

Feel the Meaning – You will help make us impossible to overlook

An important part of your task will be to further develop Feel the Meaning and the story about what it means to work in Disability and Social Psychiatry.

You should be able to see the good story in everyday life – even where it’s a bit hidden – and translate it into creative and relevant content. It could be film, pictures, posts, employee stories or content for social media.

In other words, you will help show the outside world who we are, what we can do, and why the work makes sense.

You’ll be allowed to turn ideas into reality

You will have a concrete role in local recruitment and come close to both managers, employees and candidates. You will among other things work with job postings, screening, initial interviews and internship programs.

At the same time you will have the freedom to think innovatively, test ideas and develop the way we recruit. Perhaps we should try a new path to a target group, rethink a job advertisement or create a completely new way to meet candidates. You’ll be allowed to experiment – and leave your mark.

The most important thing is that you want to explore possibilities and bring good ideas to life.

We are looking for you who

  • are creative, curious and proactive
  • derive energy from developing new ideas and testing them in practice
  • are good at building relationships and make people feel seen
  • can spot the good story and convey it in a vivid and relevant way
  • dare to think differently and challenge what we usually do
  • can work independently and drive your own tasks from idea to action
  • also thrive in a tight partnership where ideas are discussed, developed and made even better
  • want to be visible both internally and externally.

You don’t need to have tried everything before. The most important is your curiosity, your creativity and your desire to create something that works. We welcome different professional backgrounds and see professional diversity as a strength.

In short

We’re looking for you who can make people stop, become curious and think

“That’s it – I could see myself being a part of that.”

With us you’ll have the opportunity not just to recruit for open positions, but to develop the very way we work with recruitment.

You will help make Disability and Social Psychiatry visible and even more relevant and attractive – and together with us find new ways to reach the people who will help create meaningful lives for others.

About us

Vejle with Will is our shared ambition to create a municipality where we dare to think differently, take responsibility and develop solutions together. In the area of disability and psychiatry we work for quality and coherence for citizens – and for an organization where professionalism, collaboration and job satisfaction go hand in hand.

We are brave, curious and proactive. We dare to challenge what we usually do, and believe that the best solutions are created when we bring together different professional backgrounds and perspectives.

As a consultant you become part of a professional environment where you have the opportunity to support development, quality and professional practice – and help translate knowledge and ideas into solutions that create value for citizens.

We have the will to develop – and the courage to do it together.

A temporary position for 18 months and as a rule at 37 hours, with starting date from December 1, 2026.

Organizationally you will be attached to the Substance Abuse Center Vejle, but your task solving will take place across the entire Disability and Psychiatry area in Vejle Municipality.

An attractive workplace with the opportunity to influence the development of the organization and task management.
