About the job

Regional KAM (Sjælland) is sought to develop Würth Denmark's business in the public sector (B2G).

With a dedicated B2G sales force that visits all types of public customers daily, we have the capacity to execute on even more agreements with public customers. Therefore we are now looking for a Regional KAM in Zealand to strengthen our strategic sales.

As RKAM you will work with public customers through 2 tracks.

The first track encompasses strategic sales to municipalities, regions, educational institutions, utility companies, semi-public companies, etc., that are not covered by a framework agreement.

The goal is to move from daily need-based sales to a more long-term collaboration and agreement-based sales with a focus on value creation for the customer across the range and value propositions. The aim here is to bind the customer more closely to Würth and ensure a better utilization of the customer's potential – i.e., a journey towards long-term partnerships tied by formal agreements.

The second track is to ensure that Würth will be able to win more public tenders in the future. This track largely involves pre-sales efforts so that future tenders are as far as possible aligned with Würth's assortment, value proposition and services, so that we stand stronger going forward. Pre-sales is about ensuring that the needs of the end user are clearly reflected in the tender, that our core products are on standalone sub-agreements, that our services are in demand and that we are generally regarded as a serious, competent and long-term partner.

Some of your most important tasks will be

  • Independently identify and exploit new business opportunities, with both new and existing customers.
  • Enter into a strategic dialogue with customers and identify areas where Würth can release resources and add competencies to the customer's business in the short and long term.
  • Negotiate cooperation agreements with the decision-maker at the customer. The agreements then form the framework for daily sales, which is handled by your colleagues in the rest of the sales organization.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct customer meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare offers and participate in public tender processes.
  • Translate Würth's strategic focal points into practical solutions that create value for our customers. For example by organizing programs that ensure a successful implementation of concepts and solutions in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Participate in development projects that ensure value creation for both the customer and Würth.
  • Support and act as a sparring partner for colleagues. Your daily work takes place at customers, alone or with colleagues.

We expect that you

  • Have a solid knowledge of selling to the public sector (B2G), including a good understanding of public procurement processes.
  • Are able to operate across the customer's touchpoints, focusing on the purchasing office and operations managers, but you must also be able to operate at the workshop
  • Work in a structured and analytical manner and have experience with Key Account Management, Business Development and New Business in the B2B/B2G market.
  • Be driven by building long-term relationships and strategic sales
  • Preferably have a relevant network to public customers in Zealand

As a person you are

  • Open and curious
  • Credible and trustworthy
  • Adaptive to change
  • Willing to learn
  • Results-oriented

We offer you

Würth is a growth-oriented company, and it is you and your colleagues who create the momentum. You will be met with trust in your abilities in an open and approachable environment. We know that the best results are created by colleagues who thrive and are recognized. Therefore we do much to ensure that our new colleagues quickly become part of the team, and you will from day one feel properly supported. And it continues like that. In Würth we believe in the value of education and development. We are confident that this is one of the reasons we celebrate so many anniversaries.

We also believe in the value of goals, and we are ambitious when we set them. They are a natural part of daily life, as we measure our results every day and celebrate our successes. In meetings with our customers and colleagues you can be sure that it will never be endless; no two days are the same. Our most important tool is collaboration. Only when we work together and share knowledge with colleagues in both Denmark and abroad can we unleash our full potential.

You will receive a thorough introduction, ongoing training and sparring with your immediate manager and your colleagues in our Public market, on both strategic and operational challenges.

As we are in strong growth, you will have great influence on the content and development of the job and your daily life.

Company car, salary and staff benefits according to qualifications.

We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and will close the posting when we have found the right candidate.
