About the job

Do you have solid knowledge of registration practices, and are you motivated by turning complex data into usable knowledge for your colleagues? Do you want a large professional responsibility, a broad cross-disciplinary touchpoint, and at the same time be part of a strong collegial community? Then you might be our new Registration Responsible Secretary.

At the Department of Masticatory Surgery at Rigshospitalet we are looking for a structured, curious and data-driven colleague as of January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Role: Professional responsibility, data patterns and communication

As the Registration Responsible Secretary you will have time for deepening your knowledge and will work dedicated to quality assuring and analyzing the department’s registration data.

Your work is not only about ongoing error correction, but to a large extent about examining data patterns, identifying trends and finding areas where workflows can be optimized. Your actions and follow-ups make a direct difference so that correct registration practices are integrated into daily operations, which among other things ensures stable adherence to patients’ rights and payment terms.

You will take on a large professional responsibility, and one of your most important tasks will be to function as the department’s professional sparring partner. You will not sit on your knowledge alone; you will proactively convey your findings and provide pedagogical advice, training and supervision to colleagues across disciplines.

Your primary tasks

  • Investigate data patterns and process data: Via reports and fault lists from, among other things, the Health Platform, patterns are investigated with a view to optimizing registration practices.
  • Monitor and quality assure: Ensure compliance with the diagnostic and treatment rights and contribute knowledge to compliance with other SKAL tasks and the future outpatient clinic.
  • Disseminate knowledge and spar: Act as the professional hub that communicates registration practices and data to many different professional groups.
  • Close cross-disciplinary collaboration: Support department leadership, the healthcare administrative leader, the secretary team and the clinic’s section heads of doctors, among others, in interpreting inquiries regarding, for example, DRG or patient rights.

We work daily with many professional challenges and great variation in everyday life within a complex specialty. We receive patients from all over the country, and strive to have a secretary team with high professional competencies. We work closely across disciplines, and the workdays are varied and exciting.

The framework for the position: Collegial community and flexibility

Although you have your own areas of responsibility and work independently, you do not solve tasks in isolation. We offer a position that supports both professional development and a good work-life balance:

A strong collegial foundation: You will have a fixed desk in our secretariat together with the department’s other secretaries. This ensures that you maintain the close collegial cohesion, informal camaraderie and easy access to daily sparring.

Flexibility in daily life: We emphasize trust and independence. Therefore there is an option for remote work by agreement, so your tasks can be conveniently combined with your everyday life.

Centre’s network: You will become part of a professional network across the HovedOrtoCentret, which gives you ample opportunities for professional sparring with like-minded specialists.

Our expectations of you

We are looking for a colleague who thrives in the role as the professional expert, and who can communicate complex topics clearly and respectfully at all levels of the organization.

In addition, we imagine that you

  • Are educated medical secretary and preferably have several years of experience.
  • Have solid knowledge of clinical systems, including the Health Platform’s reporting capabilities and reporting to LPR3.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of patients’ rights and the associated legislation and regulations.
  • Work proactively, keep an overview and are motivated by both predictable operational tasks and complex development tasks.
