Core task

Identify and place citizens in the right interventions that support a good and as autonomous as possible life through a recovery- and rehabilitation-oriented approach. You are not alone. You are well supported by skilled colleagues, a jurist, a procurement consultant and not least a lot of good colleagues in the execution area.

VUM 2.0 is our entire foundation and we take pride in delivering a good piece of authority work within the Social Services Act §§ 82, 84, 85, 97, 98, 100, 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 108, 109 and 110, and we practice it diligently together.

We work specialized, so don’t worry – you don’t have to be a world champion in all the paragraphs. But we will surely make you a world champion in some of them, if you aren’t already.

Collaboration

Collaboration is the keyword in a social area that can be complex and never boring. We come together to solutions and prioritize learning, good decisions and processes. It also means that no one should feel alone with the responsibility and we make each other look good in case processing. We easily and naturally reach out to partners, both internally and externally. You will have most of your collaborators right around the corner, including other administrative areas.

We have organized ourselves together with the municipality’s offerings in the adult social area (residential care, day services, shelter, housing support and living communities). We have a close and coordinated collaboration and work, among other things, together in the municipality’s open advisory service 'The Open Door'. Together we are focused on developing new interventions and achieving an even closer and more holistic collaboration to benefit the citizens.

Who are you

• You are trained social worker or social facilitator.
• Your experience matters, but the most important for us is that you have the right mindset and talent for the job and the desire to put yourself at stake.
• You are ambitious and have a sharp pen. Authority work requires written communication, so it should come naturally to you.
• Your future colleagues enjoy the social community and not least the good humor, so they expect a lot of that from you.
• It is a good idea to be able to juggle between different tasks and thrive with that. It is the condition in a smaller municipality, where we with joint efforts must make everyday life function.

What can you expect

• We are based in a brand new and lovely town hall. We share a floor with the Children, Youth and Family Counseling and the Job Center for young people under 30. We experience that we have strong, valuable interdisciplinary interventions and practice close cooperation in the municipality.

Salary and employment

• The position is 37 hours per week with flexitime.
• Herlev Municipality has a smoke-free working time.
• Salary according to applicable collective agreement and Ny Løn principles.
• The position is desired to be filled as soon as possible or after further agreement.
