Would you like to help create a safe and developing everyday life for our youngest children? We are looking for an educator for our toddler group. The position is 35-37 hours, with start as soon as possible.

About the job and the tasks

As we expect more children in our toddler group next year, we are looking for a committed and professionally curious educator, who wants to become part of our pedagogical community and help create the best framework for our children.

In daily work on the floor, you will be close to the children and have the opportunity to work targeted with their well-being, development, learning and formation. We work, among other things, in smaller groups because we experience that it provides good opportunities to be present and to base on each child’s needs, interests and development.

We have chosen to organize our toddler group by age and maturity. We have three rooms, where two rooms have children from about 6 months to 2½ years, while the third room has children from about 2½ to 3½ years. This organization gives us good conditions for creating closeness, continuity and quality in the pedagogical work, and at the same time to adapt our learning environments to the children’s different development stages.

We are looking for you, who have the desire and professional competencies to make a difference for our children. You who see the big in the small moments, which can create safe relationships, and who have the eye that it is in everyday life and in the close relationships that the foundation for the children’s further development is laid.

As an educator you will also be an active part of our shared professional development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to developing, evaluating and qualifying our pedagogical practices and learning environments, based on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the current agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and function pay.

You have the option to choose between 35-37 hours.

Employment from January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About us

Børnehuset Eventyrhaven is an integrated day institution with about 95 children, distributed across three kindergarten groups and three toddler groups, where one group functions as an intermediate group between toddler and kindergarten. We are located in Lindved, close to both school and city park.

We are fortunate to have a large and inspiring playground, which gives the children plenty of opportunities for play, movement, immersion and exploration. Here we have, among other things, an area specially designed for toddlers, a campfire house, bike tracks, multi-sport, our own little forest, a shelter and a workshop – and not least many different small and exciting play environments that invite different forms of play and communities.

Inside we also have good opportunities to create varied learning environments. In addition to our floor groups we have, among other things, a motor room, a creative workshop and several smaller play environments that the children can explore and use in different ways.

Eventyrhaven is a house in ongoing development, where we want to be curious about our own practice and continually become better. We place great emphasis on close collaboration between colleagues and on us taking joint responsibility for the pedagogical quality across the whole house.

We are focused on creating a common pedagogical foundation, which we continuously develop, evaluate and qualify. For us, it’s about creating the best possible development and learning environments for the children – and about constantly being curious about what we can do even better.
