Residential care home Rude Skov's 1:1 support seeks substitute workers

Step into a meaningful role where you can make a difference for people with special needs. At Boligerne Rude Skov we are looking for a colleague for our 1-1 unit with 5 residents. The unit focuses on creating the best possible conditions for each resident, every single day.

You will have the opportunity to work targeted and structured with the aim of creating a meaningful life for the individual resident. For us it is important that you are passionate about making a difference for others and can act competently within the given framework. We are looking for you with a social work background who wants to be a specialist in helping and supporting exactly one or more of our five fantastic residents.

About the job

The daily effort is about ensuring that everyday pedagogical, practical, social and care-related tasks are carried out with professionalism, empathy and relevant support.

The residents are resourceful, partly self-sufficient and generally thriving, but need help with pedagogical, practical, social and partly care-related tasks.

We support you with a thorough introduction to each resident and the methods we use, so you get the best prerequisites to succeed.

We work structured together on the core task

Working hours will be either in the morning, in the evening or long shifts with up to 15.5 hours.

About us

The unit is part of Botilbud Rude Skov, and common for the five residents is that all have a developmental disability with a low cognitive functioning level. In addition there is an overlay of various individual psychiatric diagnoses. Together with the rest of Botilbud Rude Skov we work with the professional approaches sensory integration, total communication and neuro-pedagogy. We work with clear and detailed individual daily schedules and tailored pedagogical support.

Our focus on structure helps create the necessary predictability and thereby safety for the resident, which creates the surplus to be able to succeed in daily life.

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague who has a strong interest in working with residents with special needs.

You have a pedagogical or social work background and preferably experience with similar tasks and structures or target groups.

It is also highly valued to be able to work independently in daily life, but with respect for what is collectively agreed.

Employment terms

There will be ongoing recruitment interviews and the positions are desired to be filled as soon as possible.

Working hours are between 6:45 and 22:15 distributed over 5-15 hour shifts, all days of the week.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.
