About the job

🌟 Are you passionate about elderly care, professionalism and good days at work?

Become our new social- and health care assistant in day shift at Ringkøbing Nursing Home

Do you want a day shift where your professionalism makes a difference, where you get responsibility and influence – and where we support each other? Then perhaps you are the one we are missing on the team!

At Ringkøbing Nursing Home we are looking for an engaged social- and health care assistant who wants to become part of our day shift team – and who will take responsibility for creating safety, presence and good experiences for our residents.

❤️ For us, elderly care is about people – not just tasks

At Ringkøbing Nursing Home we believe that a good life does not end when you move to a nursing home. On the contrary, everyday life should continue to include presence, self-determination, joy of life and space for the individual.

We are part of Danish Diakonhjem and a self-governing nursing home with a good collaboration with Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality.

Our daily life is built on values such as integrity, inclusiveness, respect and approachability. We see each person as unique and valuable, and we aim to create a daily life where residents, relatives, volunteers and employees feel seen, heard and involved.

For us, good care and a good working environment go hand in hand. When we thrive, collaborate and trust each other, we also create the best framing for our residents.

🌙 Your role – professional responsibility with room for you

As a social- and health care assistant with us you take a central role in ensuring the day runs safely, professionally and with residents' needs at the center.

You will have freedom to use your professional skills, take initiative and put your own positive mark on daily life.

Your tasks will include

  • Maintain an overview of the professional aspects.
  • Together with the nurse plan, coordinate and delegate tasks so that both residents and colleagues have a good day.
  • Provide care, nursing and perform tasks under health legislation with high professional quality.
  • Support good documentation practices and ensure relevant documentation.
  • Create calm, security and presence for residents – even when the day brings unexpected situations.

🌿 Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Are trained as a social- and health care assistant and want to work with older people.
  • Are good at prioritizing, coordinating and delegating – without losing sight of the person behind the task.
  • Have good communication and relational skills and meet both residents and colleagues with respect.
  • Are positive, authentic, engaged and quality-conscious – and want to develop yourself and our shared practice.
  • Take shared responsibility for documentation, professional development and good collaboration.

You don't need to be able to do everything from day one. We place emphasis on your professionalism, your approach to people and your desire to be part of a community.

🤝 What do you get with us?

We want to be a workplace where you look forward to coming to work – and where you can feel that your efforts matter.

With us you get

  • Influence on your workday and colleagues who work as a team
  • Visible leadership at eye level – with room for dialogue, ideas and an informal tone.
  • Values that can be felt in everyday life – integrity, trust and respect.
  • Opportunity for development
  • An attractive health insurance and other employee benefits.

We believe that our diverse personal and professional competencies make us stronger – and that good collaboration is crucial for a good everyday life.
