Safiren is looking for an employee for the kitchen and the nursery.

Would you like to combine practical kitchen tasks with presence and care for our youngest children? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for for a permanent position of 30 hours per week at Børnehuset Safiren.

We receive meals from an external company, so your workday will be split between the kitchen in the morning and the nursery in the afternoon.

About the job

The position is 30 hours per week with working hours 10:00-16:00 every day.

Safiren consists of three kindergarten groups and two nursery groups. You will have a varied workday, where you help with practical tasks in the kitchen and become part of daily life with our lovely nursery children.

In the nursery

We are looking for an assistant who would like to spend every afternoon with our children aged 0-3 years.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Be a helping hand across the two nursery groups.
• Help the children when they wake up from their midday nap.
• Assist during meals.
• Participate in and initiate activities with the children both indoors and outdoors.
• Take care of practical tasks, such as tidy up and cleaning after meals.

In the kitchen

In the morning your tasks will include, among other things, to

• Receive the food when it is delivered.
• Prepare work surfaces for lunch.
• Wash up after lunch.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy.

Your profile

First and foremost we are looking for you who want to be with children aged 0-3 years and contribute to a safe and good everyday life for them.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the legally entitled trade organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly hours: 30

Børnehuset Safiren is one of the ten institutions connected to Brabrandsøen's Daycare Services. We are an integrated institution with three kindergarten groups and two nursery groups, normed to 71 kindergarten children and 24 nursery children.
