About us

In the Support Section in the Capacities-Responsible Air Systems we are responsible for materiel systems for air military operations, where we handle procurement, supply, maintenance and disposal of materiel. Our team consists of both technical specialists and administrative staff, who work closely together to ensure the daily operation.

In the Operations and Support Section we solve logistical and technical tasks related to materiel operation and maintenance planning. The work is carried out either directly or in cooperation with other parts of the Armed Forces.

About the position

You will become part of a team of six people, where you primarily shall advise, provide operations support and plan maintenance within the Support Section in the Capacities-Responsible Air Systems area of responsibility in the Defence's SAP system.

With a focus on SAP Plant Maintenance you will work closely with case handlers, operations offices both at operational and workshop level, and with the Defence Ministry's Material and Procurement Agency Supply Chain Division and local supply units.

In addition you will contribute to solving other logistical issues, implement optimizations and follow-ups, prepare input to consultation responses and propose long-term improvements.

You will have a broad contact interface internally in the Defence Ministry's Material and Procurement Agency, as well as collaboration with technical case handlers and engineers. About you

Your education is not decisive, but we expect that you come with a background as either aircraft mechanic, electronics mechanic, motor mechanic, mechanical engineer or similar technical education with solid practical experience.

You have good experience with materiel operation, including planning and maintenance - either from the military's workshops or equivalent in the aviation industry or another relevant sector. It is a prerequisite that you have solid experience with SAP PM and knowledge of SAP's logistics modules.

You must be able to read and understand technical documentation in English.

We expect you to work systematically and thoroughly, as work with air military systems imposes high safety requirements.

You thrive with a varied portfolio of tasks and are able to collaborate at all organizational levels.

Employment terms

You will be employed under the collective agreement in force at any given time.

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility of negotiating allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme tied to the position.

The workplace is in Ballerup

As an employee under the Defence Ministry's area, you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the clearance throughout your employment.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with the aim of participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace enforcement, humanitarian and other similar operations.
