Senior Finance Business Partner for strategic analyses and management advisory

Do you translate complex financial analyses and issues into clear recommendations for ATP’s management and boards? And are you motivated by driving the development of financial management as well as creating overview and direction in tasks that cut across the organization? Then you’re the one we’re looking for.

At ATP, finance plays an important role in the decisions that shape our business and strategic direction. Therefore we are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner who can contribute with analyses, bring together financial perspectives across the organization, and ensure a solid financial foundation for important decisions.

You will become part of the financial partner function and work closely with managers, finance partners, and the Corporate Secretariat. In the position there will be a high degree of interaction with the management on a strategic level, and there is an opportunity to make a clear professional mark on ATP’s financial governance and direction.

Your tasks

• Strategic tasks and financial analyses

You will be responsible for driving and supporting strategically important tasks and analyses across ATP. This includes preparing financial analyses, scenario calculations, impact assessments, and decision proposals that support the management’s priorities and strategic decisions. You must be able to translate complex issues into clear recommendations that the management can act on.

• Cross-cutting financial coordination and corporate perspective

You will have a role in coordinating deliveries from the finance partners and other parts of the organization to ensure coherence between different financial perspectives, challenge and qualify inputs, and translate these into a consolidated management basis.

• Board and management support

You will play a central role in coordinating cases for board and management forums. At the same time you will itself prepare decision proposals and financial analyses, including quality-assuring inputs, illuminating consequences, and formulating recommendations. In this way you contribute to boards and management having a solid and well-grounded basis for making important decisions.

• Development of financial management and reporting

You will also contribute to developing ATP’s financial management, KPIs, reporting and governance tools. This includes bringing in new technology and AI where it can automate workflows, create new analytical possibilities, and give management a more transparent and relevant basis for governance and follow-up.

Who are you?

There are several paths to the job. The most important is that you have solid financial and analytical competencies and have experience bringing them to play against strategic leadership in a complex and politically governed organization like ATP.

We also imagine that you

• have a master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field
• have several years of experience as, for example, Finance Business Partner, Controller, financial consultant, analyst, or similar
• have experience with financial analyses, budget planning and follow-up, decision proposals and processes, and management support
• can translate complex issues into clear conclusions and clearly communicate concrete recommendations
• enjoy coordinating deliveries and collaborating across disciplines and stakeholders.

Knowledge of governmental financial management is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Who are we?

You will become part of a section with 12 Finance Business Partners. We work with financial management, analyses, reporting, and management support across ATP and support both the business, management, and ATP’s boards.

Daily life alternates between deep dives into complex analyses, dialogue with managers, and close collaboration with colleagues. We have our own areas of responsibility but actively use each other for sparring and often solve tasks collectively when several perspectives must be considered.

The collaboration is characterized by high trust, professional ambitions, and a pleasant tone. We challenge each other constructively, share knowledge, and help where there is a need. At the same time, we prioritize a good community, where there is also room for humor and informal chats during the day.
