Service assistant sought for Gastrointestinal Surgery, Clinic for Endoscopy

We are looking for a motivated service assistant who wishes to contribute to a dynamic workplace where learning and development are at the center. The vacant position is for our endoscope washing, a 1-year fixed-term contract at 37 hours per week with start on 1 December 2026. Working hours at present are on weekdays from 07:00 to 18:00.

Clinic for Endoscopy (KFK) is organizationally part of Gastrointestinal Surgery. In the unit, diagnostics and endoscopic treatment of diseases in the stomach and intestinal tract, bile ducts and pancreas are performed. Additionally, we perform scopes/treatment on patients with lung diseases. The daily work for our service assistants consists of washing, cleaning and maintenance of endoscopes.

Washing of endoscopes is essential for our flow in carrying out the day's program, and has a decisive impact on patient safety. The service assistants work in a close and developing community with the nurses in the department and are involved in creating and developing the future of the clinic. In the endoscope washing area, in addition to the vacant position, there are four service assistants employed. In addition, we have a working community with service assistants from another department.

We are looking for a service assistant

• who will contribute to ensuring a high professional level in relation to cleaning and maintenance of endoscopes and other equipment
• who will help ensure efficient operation and flow in the execution of the daily programs throughout the opening hours
• who will contribute to ensuring a good working environment and interdisciplinary collaboration
• has knowledge of sterile techniques
• can orient themselves and use IT systems
• must be service-minded and have a willingness to take on ad hoc tasks to a certain extent.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory child certificate.
