Are you trained as a social and health helper and ready for the next step in your professional development?

As a social and health helper, you already have a strong foundation in care, support, and collaboration with citizens and patients. Now you have the opportunity to further educate yourself as a social and health assistant and expand your competencies within health and nursing.

With your SSH education you will get credit for the first six months of the social and health assistant education and can therefore move faster towards a qualification with even more professional possibilities and areas of responsibility.

• on-the-job training at care homes and in home care, at hospitals, and at disability and psychiatric institutions on Bornholm. As a social and health assistant trainee in the Bornholm Regional Municipality, you will have the opportunity to work with health and nursing tasks in both municipal and regional settings.
• employment as a social and health assistant trainee at 37 hours per week
• wage and employment terms according to applicable collective agreement with FOA
• adult trainee wages if you are 25 years or older at the start of the education
• The theoretical part of the education takes place at Bornholm Health and Nursing School, Campus Bornholm.

Prerequisites for employment

• To be admitted to the education, you must have prepared an education plan or Real Competence Assessment (RKV) with the education counselor at Bornholm Health and Nursing School. Book a time by emailing: [email protected] , after which you will be contacted.
• You must have completed the social and health helper education, including the core subjects Danish (D level), Science (E level), heart/lung resuscitation course, and fire prevention course, or have obtained equivalent competences domestically or abroad.
• In connection with employment, a child care and criminal record must be presented.

Salary and employment terms
