About the job

Are you attuned to the individual, and does it matter to you to help create a safe and good everyday life for others? Then we may have a place for you in Team Skovcentret.

We are looking for a Social and Health Care Assistant with start date January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Who are we? Team Skovcentret

Team Skovcentret consists of four units, where we every day work to create good everyday life for our residents. We place emphasis on presence, care and good collaboration, where we help each other to make everyday life function.

We are in the middle of an exciting development, among other things in connection with the new Elder Law and the establishment of a team coordinator function. We continually work on developing our professional skills and finding good solutions that start from the residents’ needs.

We want a workplace where there is room for differences, professional sparring and a good portion of humor. We value colleagues who take initiative, share their experiences and want to be part of the community.

Your role as SSH with us

As a Social and Health Care Assistant you are close to the residents and have an important role in their daily life. It is often the small things, the good conversation and your attention to the individual that help create security and quality of life.

Your tasks will among other things include

  • assist residents with personal care and practical support based on their needs and wishes
  • create safe relationships and be a contact person for selected residents
  • observe changes in residents’ condition and respond to what you see
  • contribute to continuity and quality in daily care
  • handle medication management within your competence area
  • collaborate with colleagues, relatives and other professional groups about residents’ well-being and daily life.

Who are you?

You are educated as a Social and Health Care Assistant, and you meet the residents with respect, care and interest in the person behind the need for help.

We also imagine that you

  • take responsibility for your tasks and contribute to good collaboration
  • can work independently and at the same time know when to spar with your colleagues
  • are attentive to residents’ needs and react when something changes
  • can stay overviewed and prioritise your tasks in a day where things can change
  • are keen to learn new things and contribute to the development of our shared practice.

At Team Skovcentret you get

  • a good introduction with support from a mentor and your colleagues
  • a collegial community where we work to strengthen collaboration and the work environment
  • opportunities for professional development and to build on your skills
  • a workplace with room for differences, dialogue and professional sparring
  • opportunity to bring your experiences and strengths into play
  • a meaningful job where your contribution matters for residents’ daily life.

Application process

The application deadline is Friday, November 13, 2026 at 23:59.

We expect to conduct interviews on November 18, 20 and 23, 2026.

Start date is January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms

The position is initially full-time but it is possible to agree on fewer hours. You work every other weekend and will primarily be on day shift.

The starting salary for the position is expected to take its basis in the base wage arrangement for Social and Health Care Helpers under the collective agreement for social and health personnel (27,680.22–32,446.56 DKK). Pension of 15.29% is added.

Additionally, there will be the possibility of negotiating individual allowances based on relevant competences as well as a function allowance.
