Social and Health Care Assistant for Lysbro Care Center

Are you trained as a social- and health care assistant, we are seeking a new colleague for Lysbro Plejecenter, a cozy and well-functioning care center in Silkeborg Municipality.

Are you passionate about creating good relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration? Are you caring, listening, and do you have a calm personality? Are you curious about your colleagues, about workflows and development in care, and do you always work with the resident at the center? Do you have a value set that includes respect, propriety and responsibility? Then we have an open position at Lysbro Plejecenter, in mixed shifts - though primarily day shifts, with weekend shifts 5 out of 12 weeks. The position is available December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

Lysbro Plejecenter is located in Silkeborg with 46 nursing home residences, close to nature. We seek professionally competent and engaged staff who work with the core task in focus. We work from person-centered care, where ethics, respect and dignity in the work are weighted in the meeting with our residents. Our focus is that the residents experience a meaningful life, based on the wishes and needs the individual has for life.

At Lysbro we work to ensure a good working environment, where we use each other as sparring partners and highly value that it should be nice to come to work. We are currently working on bringing Lysbro together into one unit, after a number of years with two managers on site. We have a focus on an open-dialogue culture and we use humor in everyday life. Involvement with relatives is highly valued and we work with contact teams in the groups.

We have our own nurse employed at Lysbro Plejecenter, in addition to therapists and staff educated in social and health care. We have a friends association attached that holds evening events every month, as well as volunteers for flower arranging, communal singing, walks, just as we make use of a bicycle courier. We also have visits from kindergarten children, bingo, parties and other activities in collaboration with the staff.
