About the job

Are you looking for a position where your professional breadth makes a noticeable difference every day? And would you like to work somewhere where we see the whole person, meet residents at eye level, and insist on creating good days?

Markusgården is seeking a social- and health assistant who is passionate about working with people with dementia and who puts quality of life at the top of the agenda.

At Markusgården, 73 unique people live across eight residential units, all of whom have a dementia diagnosis or dementia-like behavior. Many of our residents have complex health challenges in everyday life. It requires a patient and professionally well-founded social- and health assistant who masters the balance between care, structure, and pedagogical exploration.

We prioritize both the lived and the living life in a home-like and safe environment. We work from a rehabilitative mindset with help to self-help. All professional groups work closely together daily, and the focus is that we think together about solving the core task.
