Social and Health Care Assistant for our lovely care homes in Æblelunden, Southeast District

This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week, in mixed shifts, naturally with the understanding that it can work for everyone. The hourly rate can be negotiated. We work every 2nd weekend.

As a social and health care assistant, you will contribute to

• creating quality of life and joy for our residents in the nursing homes
• involving residents and ensuring security

Concrete tasks

• perform complex care tasks in multidisciplinary collaboration
• contribute to preventing hospital admissions
• navigate professionally in residents' private environments
• apply your well-founded professional knowledge in the multidisciplinary effort
• develop action plans where goals and sub-goals are clearly formulated, where actions are concrete and clearly described and ensure follow-up
• work motivatingly in relation to residents and your partners
• guide and supervise students and colleagues
• be cooperative in task solving
• contribute with creative solutions while working structured and goal-oriented
• guide and support residents and relatives in their daily life
• plan and participate in activities and socializing based on each resident's resources and needs

Qualifications and competencies

• you are trained as a social and health care assistant
• you have experience and a particular interest in working with the elderly and those with dementia
• are flexible, accommodating and collaborative in task solving
• can navigate professionally in relation to resident, relatives and colleagues
• see possibilities and have the courage and ability to try new paths
• are creative, have an interest and enjoy physical activity, including outdoors
• apply your well-founded professional knowledge in the multidisciplinary effort

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement between KL and FOA.
