Social- and Health Care Assistant for predominantly night shifts - The Care Home of the Future

The Future Nursing Home is a somatic care home where 75 residents live. It is located in beautiful surroundings by the Limfjord, close to the Limfjord Bridge. There are about 85 employees with different professional backgrounds; we work from. We educate social- and health care assistants and social- and health care helpers, and we have about 25 students per year who become part of the community. One is attached to a floor and a team, but we help each other across the house to succeed together.

At the nursing home there is an active resident-and relatives council; it is highly valued that there is good cooperation with residents and relatives in daily life. We have an activity group and about 20 volunteers in the house; they all do a great job together with the staff to create good moments with various activities for the residents.

About the position

• You must be educated as a social- and health care assistant with authorization
• It is a great advantage if you have knowledge of CURA as a documentation tool
• The position is initially 37 hours, primarily night shifts
• The expected start date will be from November 2026, or by agreement
• As a night shift you work in a 7/7 arrangement, and every other weekend
• There are 3 on duty distributed across floors

Specific main tasks

• Carry out tasks within your own area of competence
• Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Contribute with high professionalism in holistic care

Professional competencies

• You demonstrate high professionalism and interest in care and nursing tasks
• You can work with a rehabilitative approach in collaboration with the residents, their relatives and your colleagues
• You are familiar with the use of CURA as a documentation tool

Personal competencies

• You are a positive person with an infectious mood
• That you have good communication where you see opportunities rather than limitations and have a positive dialogue with colleagues
• You are good at engaging in relationships with many different people
• You are perceived by others as an approachable and flexible person
• You are dedicated, proactive and have a flair for seeing opportunities rather than limitations

According to the applicable collective agreement between KL and the bargaining-organized organization.
