Social and Health Care Assistant or Social and Health Care Helper for day and evening shifts sought for The Care Home of the Future

Future Care Home is a somatic care home with 75 residents. It is located in beautiful surroundings by the Limfjord close to the Limfjord Bridge.

We are about 85 employees with different professional backgrounds, and we work according to. We educate social- and healthcare assistants and social- and healthcare helpers, and we have about 25 trainees per year who become part of the community.

You will be attached to a floor and a team, but we help each other across the house to succeed together.

At the care home there is an active resident and relative council. It is highly valued that there is good cooperation with residents and relatives in everyday life.

We have an activity group and about 20 volunteers in the house. They all do a lot of work together with the staff to create good moments with various activities for the residents.

About the position

• You must be trained as a social and healthcare helper or a social and health assistant with authorization.
• It is a great advantage if you have knowledge of CURA as a documentation tool
• The position is initially 37 hours/week mainly day or evening shifts.

Expected hiring will be from November or by agreement.

Special main tasks

• Carry out tasks within your own competence area
• Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Contribute with high professional quality in holistic care

Professional competencies

• You demonstrate high professionalism and interest in care- and nursing tasks
• You can work with a rehabilitative approach in collaboration with residents and their relatives and your colleagues.
• You are familiar with using CURA as a documentation tool.

Personal competencies

• You are a positive person with an infectious cheerful spirit
• That you have good communication where you see possibilities instead of limitations and have a positive dialogue with colleagues
• You are good at establishing relationships with many different people
• You are perceived by others as an accommodating and flexible person
• You are dedicated, proactive and have a knack for seeing opportunities rather than limitations

Salary and terms of employment

According to the current collective agreement between KL and the representative negotiating organization.

Prior to final employment, a criminal record certificate must be provided and references are requested.
