Skipper Klement is a specialized dementia care home with 50 places – 38 permanent and 12 temporary dementia places.

We work from Tom Kitwood's person-centered care philosophy, where the relationship and each person's life history are the foundation of our work.

With us it is equally important to have time to read aloud from the newspaper or hold a hand as it is to administer medication or provide tube feeding. We believe that quality of life is created in the small moments.

We work purposefully with everyday rehabilitation and create frameworks where people with dementia can live an equal, safe and meaningful life – for as long as possible.

About the positions

• Permanent positions in mixed shifts – as a rule mainly day shifts
• We work every other weekend in either even or odd weeks
• Max. 4 working days in a row
• The position is generally 37 hours
• Start 1 January 2027 or by agreement
• Thorough introduction and onboarding
• Regular team meetings every 2 weeks
• Regular supervision
• Overlap between day and evening shifts

We are 15 social and health care assistants on day shift with a daily staffing of at least 13 – also on weekends .

If you are a super user in CURA or a trainer, we will find a good solution so you can continue in the role if you wish.

Your professional profile

We are looking for you who

• Are educated social and health care assistant
• Have an interest in – and find the dementia field professionally fascinating
• Work with the understanding that it is the dementia disease that creates behavior
• Have an overview and take responsibility
• Can work independently and at the same time strongly join the team
• Preferably have experience with CURA (otherwise we will teach you)
• Are professionally robust in working with temporary placements, where adaptability, calmness and the ability to maintain focus are required

• Ensure high health professional quality
• Actively participate in collaboration with residents, relatives and colleagues

Salary and terms of employment

According to the current collective agreement for social and health care personnel (73.01) concluded between KL and the FOA union.

Prior to final employment there must be a criminal record check and references retrieved.
