We are seeking a committed social care worker

Do you want to make a difference for people who need support to create a new life?

We are seeking a committed social care worker for our team. The working hours will be 30 hours per week, and there will be evening and weekend shifts.

As a social care worker you will be an important part of residents' development and daily life. A central part of the work is to support each resident in working towards their own goals and sub-goals and, in line with their abilities, develop skills, structure and independence.

You will, among other things, work with ADL, social skills, finances, housing, contact with public authorities, as well as support to create structure and coherence in daily life. You will also participate in the house's daily activities and accompanying residents.

An important part of the work is also the social care documentation. You must be able to observe, describe and document residents' development, progression and challenges, and participate in ongoing follow-up of the goals and sub-goals being worked on. The documentation is an important part of our professional work and must help ensure that the efforts are based on the individual resident's needs and development.

Your qualifications

  • You have a relevant social care education, e.g., social pedagogue or similar education.
  • You have an interest in working with people in vulnerable positions and preferably experience from the social sector.
  • You can work purposefully with residents' development and support them in reaching their individual goals and sub-goals.
  • You can document systematically and professionally and can translate observations into relevant documentation.
  • You understand that relationships, structure and clear frameworks are essential elements of social work.
  • You have a category B driving license.
  • You are flexible and can work systematically according to current guidelines.
  • You are stable, engaged, and good at building trusting relationships.
  • You can present a criminal record.

Your responsibilities

  • Support and guidance of residents in daily tasks and development of their independence.
  • Work purposefully with residents' individual goals and sub-goals.
  • Observe and follow up on residents' well-being, development and progression.
  • Draft and update social care documentation.
  • Contribute to status descriptions and evaluation of the social care effort.
  • Participate in the house's daily activities and accompaniment.
  • Support residents in contacting public authorities, healthcare, family and other relevant partners.
  • Actively engage in multidisciplinary collaboration around the individual resident.

We offer

  • A meaningful everyday life where you make a concrete difference for people in vulnerable positions.
  • A workplace focused on relationships, development and professionalism.
  • A dedicated and engaged team.
  • Opportunity for professional development and supervision.
  • A workplace where there is room to bring in your own professional skills and ideas.
