At Kastanie Allé 3,9,11,13 we work every day to create well-being, development and change for 20 residents with permanently reduced physical and mental functioning. We are looking for a social and health care assistant who is caring, responsible and open to diversity.

We offer you

• High flexibility and work-life balance: The position is initially 37 hours with weekend work every other weekend. However, we want to accommodate your needs, and if you prefer, we can offer a permanent position of 32 hours without weekend work and your tasks will be outside normal operations, Monday to Thursday 7:00–13:30 and Friday 7:00–13:00. Please note your preference in the application.

Your primary tasks and profile

As our health care sparring partner, we would like you to

• Be professionally grounded and ready to take responsibility for health care – including medication management and catheterization (RIK). Training will be provided if needed.
• Maintain close contact with the residents' external health care partners (e.g., doctors and nurses).
• Be able to work in a structured way and set up and work according to health care goals in accordance with the residents' intervention plans.
• Be prepared to help with personal care and transfers where needed.
• Be able to work independently, but at the same time engage in close dialogue with colleagues about the residents’ (at times) challenging coping strategies, including age-related illnesses e.g. dementia.
• Possibly have knowledge of the documentation system Cura.
• Possibly have experience in the area and a valid driving license.

About Botilbuddet Kastanie Allé 3,9,11,13

Kastanie Allé houses 20 residents aged 27–82. Several residents have autistic-like traits and mental health issues, which means they need a structured, safe and predictable everyday life. All residents have verbal language and are to some extent self-reliant.

We work affirmatively with a focus on positive relationships, self-determination and the residents’ own resources. It is essential for us that residents feel seen, heard and understood in their own home.

Salary and employment terms

We expect an employee who can start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation.
