About the job

We work from a rehabilitative perspective, and expect good collaboration between the citizen and the staff, so that the citizen feels involved and has self-determination in their own care journey. We have big ambitions to deliver care with heart and professionalism, and to be a part of ensuring that the citizen experiences a care journey with quality and transparency. Therefore we are looking for an engaged social and health care assistant, who can see themselves in a framework characterized by care, respect, safety and flexibility.

We are seeking an employee for primary evening shifts, occasional day shifts may occur. Weekend shift every 2nd weekend.

About us

District Midtby Vest is located close to Vejle centre. We are based at the nursing home Bakkegården, Teglgaardsvej 15, 3rd floor, 7100 Vejle. We are about 30 staff members consisting of social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, nurses, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. We have cars available for the evening shift; a single route works well as a walking route since we are located in the centre and there is a short distance between citizens.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and local pay.

Employment is in accordance with the agreement for 73.01 Social- and health personnel - SSH, §§ 4-6. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is the base pay grade (step 19-22) based on seniority, in the range DKK 27,664 – 32,447. The final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, will be determined based on education, experience and qualifications as well as the specific offered position.

The position is a permanent position of 25-35 hours per week with start date January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
