At Sirius Moltkesvej we are looking for trained pedagogues, social workers and other social-professional staff who want to work with people with complex support needs and contribute to a workplace with high ambitions for the pedagogical effort.

About the position

As a social-professional staff member you will be an important part of the residents’ daily life. You will help create security, structure and opportunities for development based on each resident's needs, wishes and resources.

The job requires that you can build trusting relationships, see the person behind the behavior and adapt your pedagogical approach to situations where there isn’t always a simple solution.

Your tasks include, among other things

• Supporting the residents in their daily life, relationships and development, including practical support and ADL.
• Working systematically with pedagogical methods, development plans, documentation and follow-up on goals.
• Being a contact person and collaborating with colleagues, relatives and other professionals.
• Contributing to reflection, good handovers and close collaboration across shifts.

You work independently, but you also become part of a team where we value common agreements, sparring and responsibility for the overall effort.

About you

You are trained pedagogue, social worker or have another relevant social-professional education. We would like you to have experience from the specialized social sector and with people with complex psychosocial or behavioral challenges.

About Sirius Moltkesvej

Sirius Moltkesvej is a specialized residential facility in Ruds Vedby in Central Zealand. We are located in rural surroundings with plenty of space for activities both indoors and outdoors.

Our residents are adults with, among other things, ADHD, autism, schizophrenia and complex psychosocial challenges. Some may have self-harming or outwardly aggressive behavior. This places demands on our pedagogical approach, relationship work and the ability to create safe environments.

Salary and terms of employment

Positions are full-time with rotating hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. We work with 12- and 24-hour shifts, which provide the opportunity for longer periods of continuous contact with the residents and fewer days of attendance.

Start: as soon as possible or by agreement.

It is a requirement that you have a driving license for a regular car and can present satisfactory criminal and child protection checks.
