Social work professionals sought for SocialNetværket's Section 85 interventions

SocialNetværket continues to grow and is therefore seeking engaged social-professional staff for our housing support initiatives under the Social Services Act § 85. The initiatives are delivered in citizens' own homes and are based on each citizen's needs, resources and goals.

About the work

As an employee you will be part of individually tailored social-pedagogical interventions for adults in vulnerable positions. Citizens may have psychological, social or cognitive challenges, and the support needs vary from citizen to citizen.

Your tasks may include

• Social-pedagogical support, guidance and structuring in everyday life
• Support to develop or maintain the citizen's skills and coping abilities
• Relationship work and motivational conversations
• Support for contact with authorities, health services and other partners
• Preparation of professional documentation based on assignment, intervention goals and sub-goals
• Close collaboration with colleagues, coordinators and municipal authorities

The work has a clear social-pedagogical and development-oriented purpose. It is not ordinary practical help or personal care under § 83 of the Social Services Act.

Our professional approach

In SocialNetværket we work relationship-based, rehabilitative and resource-oriented. Our interventions always take their starting point in the individual citizen's prerequisites and the goals agreed with the authorities.

Depending on the citizen's needs we work with

• Mentalizing
• Motivational Interviewing – MI
• Low arousal and conflict de-escalation
• Recovery and rehabilitation
• Structured pedagogical and cognitive methods

We emphasize continuity and primarily work with small, fixed teams around the individual citizen. This creates recognizability, security and good conditions for the relational work.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant social professional education, e.g. as a pedagogue/ social worker or occupational therapist
• Preferably has experience with adults in vulnerable positions or with psychological and social challenges
• Can work independently while also joining loyally and constructively in a team
• Is professionally reflective and can translate intervention goals into concrete pedagogical practice
• Can document precisely, respectfully and professionally
• Works in accordance with the law and can keep focus on the purpose of the assigned intervention
• Is flexible and prepared that working hours can be at different times
• Has a driver's license and the possibility to use own car in the work

It is important that you can remain calm in complex situations, be curious about the citizen's perspective and create a professional relationship with clear boundaries.
