About the position

We are looking for two social workers or social mediators for our sick day benefits team.

You will have responsibility for the citizens who are covered by a contact pathway, and your primary task will be to guide citizens through their sick leave with a focus on progression, opportunities and an early return to the labor market.

You will have a coordinating role and work closely with citizens, employers, health actors and internal partners to ensure the best possible effort.

Your tasks

• Conduct follow-up conversations with citizens in the contact pathway.
• Plan and follow up on individual plans.
• Assess work capacity and need for interventions.
• Make decisions under the Sick Leave Benefits Act and the Employment Act.
• Ensure timely and professionally well-founded case handling.
• Collaborate with companies, general practitioners, the health system and other actors in the citizen's process.
• Support the citizen's progression towards returning to work.

We are looking for colleagues who

• Are trained social workers or social mediators.
• Work systematically and can maintain an overview.
• Are good at building relationships and motivating people in a vulnerable situation.
• Can balance the authorities role with an appreciative and dialogue-based approach.
• Thrives in cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Preferably have experience from the employment area – but this is not a prerequisite.

The team consists of 11 advisers and 1 subject coordinator. The team is divided into 3 areas: Sick day benefits intake, sick day benefits follow-up and the flex job area.

Both positions are in the follow-up on sick day benefits

Both positions start on 1.2.2027. The maternity cover runs initially until 30.09.2027

Salary and employment are according to the applicable collective agreement.

Salary range 39,000 – 42,000 ex. pension
