Social educator for MSM day care in Ringkøbing

The position is initially on 32 hours per week with working days Monday to Friday and employment starting 1 January 2027.

About MSM day service

MSM is a day service for adults with physical and intellectual developmental disabilities. We offer protected employment under the Social Services Act § 103 and activity and social interaction offers under § 104.

We have residents with varying support needs and work to create safe and meaningful frameworks where each person can use their resources, develop their competencies and experience being part of a community.

Everyday life at MSM is characterized by activity, creativity and good humor. We enjoy cooking, being creative, doing production work, gardening, listening to music and going on trips. We also love to make everyday life a celebration with events such as Halloween, Christmas gatherings and other cozy activities.

As a social educator you become part of a daily life where, through presence, relationships and meaningful activities, you support residents' well-being, development and joy of life.

We imagine you are creative and initiativ e and meet both residents and colleagues with humor and engagement. If you are musical and want to play or sing with us, that is a big plus!

Our professional approach

Our core task is

We succeed when residents use their resources, take as much ownership as possible and take responsibility for their own life.

We work recovery-oriented and rehabilitative with a focus on residents' wishes, resources, self-determination and opportunities to master their own life.

In practice we work affirmatively and resource-focused with a basis in KRAP and neuro-pedagogical perspectives. We prioritize professional reflection and development and offer, among other things, external supervision.

• Has a pedagogical education and preferably experience from the disability and/or psychiatry field.
• Works affirmatively and resource-focused and can create safe frames and structure.
• Is curious and reflective and eager for professional development.
• Has good collaboration skills and contributes positively to the community.
• Is flexible, responsible and proactive.
• Is creative and full of ideas and wants to translate ideas into action.
• Can work systematically with professional documentation and evaluation.
• Meets residents and colleagues with respect, decency and a good sense of humor.
