About the job

Are you a structured pedagogue with a passion for professional development, documentation and implementation? Do you want to help build a bridge between theory and practice and make the pedagogical work measurable and visible? Then you may be the person we are looking for at Holstedgaard.

About the position

Holstedgaard is a self-governing institution which for many years has experienced positive growth. We are located in Næstved and house 69 residents with various diagnoses within the psychiatric field. In addition to this, many of our residents also have complicated somatic disorders. All our residents have in common that they are not predisposed to act out at baseline.

In line with our development we are facing increased demands for documentation, follow-up and methodological use of pedagogical principles. To meet these demands and raise our professionalism even further, we are now creating a completely new position. As our new quality and development pedagogue you will, in close cooperation with management, help create a visible and structured approach that qualifies the social-pedagogical work. The overarching starting point for your work will be the Socialtilsynets quality model as well as the full implementation of KRAP .

The position is predominantly administrative and strategic, but as a professional beacon we expect you to be able to lead by example in practice. You must be able to support staff in pressured situations or take over tasks when there is a need.

Your core tasks

  • Practice reflection: You support professional reflection and sparring among your colleagues, so theory and everyday practice are naturally linked.
  • Systematic and measurable evaluation: You use evaluation tools (e.g. KRAP) to assess, measure and make the pedagogical work visible, so the quality becomes observable and discussable within the staff group.
  • Implementation in daily life: You ensure that Socialtilsynets quality model and KRAP are translated into living, meaningful daily practice for both residents and staff.
  • Competence development: You drive professional development processes, initiate new initiatives and function as a teacher and facilitator through both side-by-side learning, smaller groups and larger contexts.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: You work closely at the intersection of the pedagogical and health care staff (including our health care quality and development nurse), management and external partners such as housing team and municipalities.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are a trained pedagogue with a strong methodological toolbox and a desire to lead in professional change processes.

We would like you to

  • Have knowledge of the Socialtilsynets quality model and experience in making pedagogical work measurable and visible – both internally and to supervisory authorities.
  • Have experience with implementing pedagogical initiatives and be able to work systematically, structured and targeted, based on an appreciative approach.
  • Enjoy the role of communicator and teacher, whether it is at a staff meeting or via side-by-side training in daily life.
  • Have a recovery-oriented view of humanity, where residents' well-being, self-determination and quality of life are always at the center.
  • Have knowledge of the KRAP method (this is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement, as long as you are willing to acquire the method and drive it forward).
  • Driver's license: It is not a must, but an advantage in daily life.

You also get with us

  • A wonderful collection of residents , an informal staff culture focusing on development, humor and joy, and regular external supervision.
  • Benefits and perks : Internal qualification, health insurance, access to a gym, pedagogical meals and exciting staff events and real Christmas gifts (no honey hearts!).

Working hours and framework

As a rule the position is without fixed weekends, holidays and night shifts, and you will be self-scheduling within a fixed frame. We expect you to work with us between 25 and 37 hours, primarily daytime hours.

Criminal record certificate

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record certificate. Employment can only commence after the certificate has been obtained.
