Rosenvænget Bostøtte is home to 11 residents with differing physical, mental and cognitive disabilities. With us, no day is the same, because no people are the same. You will become part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team consisting of social educators, social- and health care assistants, care workers and a nurse. Together we create a daily life with high professionalism, strong collegiality, humor and room for differences.

We work from the conviction that relationships are the foundation for development. Therefore we meet residents with curiosity, presence and respect for their wishes, hopes and dreams.

About the position

As one of our colleagues is on leave, we are seeking a social educator for a temporary assignment of 30 hours per week. The position is temporary, but there may eventually be an opportunity for permanent employment. The working hours are split between day and evening shifts between 7:00 and 21:00, and every other weekend.

As a social educator at Rosenvænget you will be an important support and sparring partner for the residents in their daily life.

Your tasks will include, among others,

• build and maintain strong and trusting relationships
• work as a contact educator with a focus on goals, well-being and development
• plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical interventions
• support residents' participation in activities, communities and everyday life
• provide personal care and support with respect for the individual's wishes and needs
• handle medication according to current guidelines
• document and evaluate interventions in Nexus
• work closely with relatives and professional partners.

We work rehabilitatively and always base our approach on what the resident can do, wants to do and dreams of.
