Become a social- and health care assistant apprentice in Odsherred Municipality Do you want to take an education with meaning and make a concrete difference for other people? As a social- and health care assistant apprentice you learn to provide professional care and nursing and contribute to the individual citizen having a safe everyday life with the greatest possible quality of life and independence.

In Odsherred Municipality you will receive adult apprentice wages throughout the training – and you are guaranteed permanent employment after completing the training.

About the education

The education lasts up to 14 months and alternates between school and on-the-job periods. The school periods take place at ZBC in Holbæk, while the on-the-job training takes place in home care and in care centers in Odsherred Municipality.

Here you have the opportunity to translate your knowledge into practice and develop yourself both professionally and personally in meeting citizens, colleagues and supervisors.

After the training you can work as a social- and health care assistant within the care and nursing sector. You can also choose to continue your education to become a social- and health care assistant.

Admission requirements for the main course

To be admitted to the main course you must have passed Foundation Course 2 aimed at SOSU educations. Your foundation course certificate must be attached to the application.

If you have not yet completed Foundation Course 2, you must attach documentation showing that you are in progress with the course.

Employment on Foundation Course 2

In order to begin Foundation Course 2 you must as a rule have passed Danish and Mathematics at G level, corresponding to 9th grade.

If you are applying for employment already from Foundation Course 2, you must before the employment interview have applied for admission to the school via www.optagelse.dk .

Practical information

You must be able to present a private criminal record certificate in connection with the employment.

We hold ongoing employment interviews once a month.
