We are looking for a SOSU assistant who wishes to work night shifts and at the same time have day shifts. Depending on how you want to work, it may involve working every 2nd, 3rd or 4th weekend. We would very much like to have a dialogue about how we can arrange a work schedule that suits you and includes the two mentioned shifts. Do you also want to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for our 30 residents? Then you and Vestervang may be a very good match.

We are looking for an assistant with experience, as night shifts at the nursing home require experience. The rest of the staff consists of SOSU helpers, SOSU assistants, unskilled, nurses, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a house assistant, students and dietary staff. As well as volunteers and company interns.

As a SOSU assistant with us you will play a key role in carrying out high health care work with quality and cohesive citizen pathways. We have a particular focus on the individual quality of life of the residents and the good collaboration with their relatives.

In addition, Vestervang 44 Nursing Home is a practicum place for students and learners.

About the department

Vestervang 44 Nursing Home is a small, cozy nursing home with 30 well-appointed apartments and nature-filled surroundings close to the Botanical Garden; there is also free parking and a bus right to the door.

We take pride in balancing and handling complex health care interventions of high quality, while also respecting that it is the residents' own home, their life histories and quality of life that are the most important and creating star moments for each individual.

We create frameworks for communities and meaningful activities where outdoor life, children and animals are a natural part of everyday life. Salary and terms of employment

The position is intended to commence 01.12.2026

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and after specific negotiation with the union authorized to negotiate.

Weekly working hours: 37 hours
