About the job

Do you enjoy working with people with mental and/or social challenges and do you have the desire to develop interventions and communities? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for.

Albertslund is a green municipality with ambitious goals. We are proud of our municipality, and we take care in our tasks and efforts for the citizens, associations and businesses. We are one municipality and one organization. We have engaged and skilled employees as well as a collaborative culture that works across areas and levels. That makes Albertslund Municipality a good place to work.

Who are we?

Bostøtte and Aktivitet (Home Support and Activity) is part of Elderly, Health and Social. The unit is multidisciplinary and consists of 26 employees and two leaders.

Villa Social is a house composed of several offers that cover a broad target group. The house contains two activity and socializing offers; Klub Stoppestedet and Klubben, as well as the offers FLIP; Flexible Home Support Initiative and Transit, which are our preventive individual and group interventions.

We work closely with the area's authority unit, which approves the interventions. The interventions are implemented with a relevant professional approach and based on Recovery-Oriented Rehabilitation. All employees document in Sensum One.

We are in the process of developing our support interventions so that, together with the citizens, we can create the changes that the citizens hope for and need.

The position in Villa Social / FLIP

In the position you will work to support citizens in the transition from institutional living to their own homes in Albertslund Municipality, as well as support citizens in seeking, following and participating in communities.

You will become part of the FLIP team (Flexible Home Support), which handles the flexible support in citizens' housing, in Villa Social and in the surrounding communities in Albertslund. FLIP has been established this year, and we are still working on developing the initiative.

In addition to working individually with citizens in their homes, you will need to support social communities and group activities in Villa Social as well as participate in activities that are run by both citizens and staff. We are a house in constant development and are therefore always curious to bring new and exciting activities into play.

In your role you will contribute to linking both offers together and work from a recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach that should support citizens in vulnerable life situations toward increased independence and participation in communities.

You will become part of a team with broad professional expertise and experience, which always works to develop the offer. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to help shape the effort and development as well as bring in new approaches. We particularly emphasize the ability to meet and empathize with each individual person and their life situation. If this aligns with your professional interests, we would like to hear from you.

You will have your workplace at Villa Social, Poppelhusene 1, 2600 Glostrup

Our expectations of you

  • You are passionate about close relationship work.
  • You have good situational awareness
  • You have a relevant pedagogical, health or social welfare education.
  • You have experience with citizens in the target groups
  • You focus on citizens' resources and involvement.
  • You are an active part of a team and take independent responsibility for your tasks.
  • You are proactive and contributory.
  • You have a positive mindset and are flexible.

We offer

  • Great autonomy and trust in your professional skills
  • Appreciation of new ideas and new knowledge
  • A good working environment supported by management and external supervision

  • Opportunity to influence your position
