Special Development Pedagogue for the Special and Development Team at CBS Frederikssund

We are seeking a colleague with high professional engagement and a desire to co-create in a living and developing organization. This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week with commencement on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The task

The primary task of the Special Developmental Pedagogues is to support early childhood education services in the development of learning environments and pedagogical approaches, so that all children get a good start in life and are supported in their mental and physical well-being, health and development.

You will, in collaboration with your district team, PPR and the early childhood services, work with early intervention and with strong emphasis on collaboration and involvement of parents.

You will become part of a district team in one of our 4 districts Hornsherred, Ådalen, Slangerup and Trekløver. We primarily solve tasks within our own district, but also pay attention to helping across districts and to make the best use of everyone's competencies. There are meetings in the district once a month where we distribute tasks.

As a Special and Developmental Pedagogue you will be part of the “Special and Development Team” which is part of the Center for Children and School.

We have our own Team Leader and hold Professional Group Meetings and receive Supervision once a month.

Your duties will include, among other things, that

• support and collaborate on the development of pedagogical practice that creates participation opportunities for all children.
• assist in collaboration with the pedagogical staff in planning and implementing programs with groups of children or individual children, with a focus on children’s participation opportunities in the child communities and learning environments.
• conduct pedagogical analyses and work systematically with interventions in close collaboration with the pedagogical staff, management and parents.
• advise and guide the pedagogical staff and parents.
• participate and contribute actively to the process of developing cross-professional collaboration with PPR.
• participate and contribute actively in a professional community through professional group meetings, learning meetings and supervision.

We expect that you

• have a pedagogical education, preferably supplemented with relevant continuing education.
• have experience with developing inclusive learning environments and strong child communities.
• have experience with special pedagogy.
• can work independently and in a structured manner, and have an overview to plan and prioritize tasks in collaboration with your manager.
• are flexible and think creatively in cross-professional task solving with the child at the center.
• can take part in diverse tasks across the municipality's day-care services.

As a Special- and Developmental Pedagogue you will be part of the Center for Children and School. You can look forward to a varied, challenging and exciting workday, where you are largely involved in negotiating the tasks yourself and applying your professional expertise in the team and in the immediate practice.

It is recommended that you have a driving license and a car.

Salary
