About the job Dear educator

Are you passionate about creating participation opportunities for all children? We are seeking a professionally strong and engaged educator for a special educational task of 30 hours per week at Trørød Børnehus, with the possibility of additional hours in the baby unit.

We would like you to be a trained educator and have a particular focus on planning the day, activities and learning environment based on the childs zone of proximal development. You should be able to create frameworks that both support childrens individual development and their opportunities to actively participate in play, activities and relationships with the other children.

Your task will be to be a central support throughout the day, where you help with childrens practical and physical needs, while you work purposefully to ensure participation opportunities, independence and development. There will be close collaboration with parents, colleagues and relevant multidisciplinary partners.

About you We are looking for a colleague who

  • Is a trained educator
  • Has strong pedagogical expertise and puts the childs perspective at the center
  • Has interest in or experience with children with physical disabilities
  • Has an eye for the childs resources, participation opportunities and zone of proximal development
  • Can design learning environments and activities so the child experiences mastery and development
  • Can balance personal assistance and practical help with a development-supportive pedagogical focus
  • Works in a structured way and can document efforts and progression
  • Thrives in close collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary partners
  • Is calm, present and strong in relationships
  • Wants to be an active part of the infant units community

If you are a recent graduate but motivated to work with inclusion and special education, we would love to hear from you. The most important thing is not how many years of experience you have, but that you are curious, reflective and eager to make a difference for children and communities.

  • Each portal houses three rooms

We work in a structured way with group division, weekly plans and a clear organization throughout the day to create room for immersion and presence. For us, care is a keyword, and everyday life is characterized by both child-initiated and guided play as well as planned activities, designed according to our annual wheel and process play, with Community Pedagogy and the big "we" at the center.
