About the job

Nøddeboparken seeks a qualified preschool pedagogue who wants to help create a everyday life with high pedagogical quality, strong relationships, plenty of play and room for both professionalism and laughter.

We didn’t find the perfect match last time, so we’re trying again. Because we believe the right match is worth waiting for.

Who are we?

Nøddeboparken is located in Vallensbæk Strand close to water, nature and the station.

We are a day care institution with three baby groups, three preschool groups and our very own bus, which takes the children on adventures every day.

With us, professionalism and community can go hand in hand

With us, the relationships are the foundation of everything we do. We meet the children with presence, recognition and curiosity and work from our three values: presence, trust and dialogue. We take responsibility for the settings, the relationships and the learning environments the children are part of.

We want to be skilled – together

We work, among other things, with ICDP, Sprogklar and Sangglad, and we are focused on how our professional knowledge can be felt in the children’s everyday lives.

We therefore expect that you

  • Are trained as a pedagogue and can actively bring your professionalism into play.
  • Can create safe relationships and developing learning environments with attention to both the individual child and the child community.
  • Can reflect on your own practice and translate your professionalism into action.
  • Prioritize a good parent collaboration and contribute actively to the collegial collaboration.
  • Are curious, take responsibility and want to develop together with us.

You don’t need to know ICDP, Sprogklar or Sangglad beforehand. The most important thing is that you want to learn, ask questions and develop your practice with us.

And we also have to enjoy going to work together

We want to be a workplace with high professionalism, but we don’t have to be overly formal for that reason.

With us there is room for professional discussions, honest feedback and different perspectives. But there is also room for cake on the table, internal jokes, laughter in the corridors and a colleague who lends a hand when the day doesn’t go exactly as planned.

We help each other, spar with each other and take shared responsibility to ensure everyday life runs – even when there is illness, busyness or a need to think a little differently.

What you get with us

  • Weekly team meetings and time for preparation/other work
  • Meetings within normal working hours – except for one monthly staff meeting 16-19
  • A close leadership that listens and is close to everyday life.
  • Pedagogues on all rooms and good opportunities for professional sparring
  • Children’s laughter, small arms around your neck and small eyes seeking yours
  • An engaged and resourceful parent group
  • A varied daily life with room for play, outdoor life, trips, opportunities for professional development and not least the possibility to put your own mark on everyday life with the children.

The children also have a few wishes

They want an adult who can create creative projects, play hide and seek and tag, play football and take them on trips – also when there is water and mud involved.

In holidays and during absences we help each other across the rooms, so you should want to be part of the whole Nøddeboparken.

Are you curious?

Then come by - We love when future colleagues come by, say hello, see the house and have a cup of coffee.

The position is to be filled from January 1, 2027 – or earlier, if possible.

We hold ongoing interviews, so don’t hesitate to contact us.

The fine print

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

If you have questions about the job advertisement or are curious about something else, you are welcome to contact daycare director Lars Gundelack Jensen at tel. 28 40 84 03, or coordinating pedagogue Mie Gaye and Karina Lau Johansen at tel. 24 66 22 90. We love when people come by and say hi and have a cup of coffee, so feel free to drop by for a chat.

Maybe it’s you the children are waiting for.

One with creative ideas, a love of play, professional curiosity and a pair of rubber boots that aren’t afraid to get dirty.

We look forward to meeting you.
