About the job

The evening shift is where the overview must be sharp and the decisions sit right in the cupboard – you don't have to be a superhero, but be professionally strong, human and ready to take responsibility when the day comes to an end.

Therefore we at Lyngparken are looking for a social and health care assistant for the evening shift, who likes taking responsibility and has the capacity to meet citizens, relatives and colleagues with calm, humor and professional pride.

Lyngparken is a care centre that provides a home and housing for 47 residents – of which 7 of the apartments are temporary housing. We are located close to scenic natural surroundings – but still close to the town of Varde.

We strive for a everyday life with meaning, presence and community – always with respect for each resident's wishes and resources. Therefore we are also curious about how new solutions and welfare technology can help create even greater security for our residents and at the same time support the staff's professional work.

In the near future we will have the opportunity to become part of an exciting project where we will test a new welfare technology call system. This can be an important support both in the evening and at night. In the evening shift, where there is still life in the house and residents have different needs for support, the technology can help create an extra layer of security and overview.

The technology must not replace our professional view, presence or knowledge of the residents. It should be another tool in the toolbox, helping us be where we are needed – at the right time.

For us, technology must support people – not replace them. Welfare technology can help create security, provide better overview and help us be where the need is greatest. But it can never replace professionalism, care or the good collaboration.

At Lyngparken we place emphasis on a good collegial community, where we help each other, share our professional considerations and stand together on the tasks – also when the evening becomes busy, and plan A suddenly becomes plan C.

You must be able to take responsibility and make professional decisions, but you should also know that you have colleagues around you whom you can brainstorm with and reach out to.

Who are you?

  • Trained social and health care assistant with a professional understanding of care, assistance and the health-related tasks that accompany it.
  • Professional, calm and responsible in your approach. You can prioritise tasks, create structure in your workday and act on changes in residents' condition – including in situations that require independent decisions.
  • Strong collaborator who professionally participates in the interdisciplinary collaboration with other professional groups and works rehabilitatively and based on the approach of person-centered care.

What do we offer?

  • Self-chosen working hours , with the possibility to influence your own shift plan.
  • High well-being , good colleagues and a happy and positive workplace.
  • Available management with focus on dialogue, trust and professional sparring in everyday work.
  • Thorough introduction through a structured onboarding program, so you get a safe and good start with us.
  • Strong collegial community where professionalism and a good mood go hand in hand.
  • A meaningful job where your efforts make a difference in the residents' lives.
