About the job

As a home-care social- and health care assistant you will play a central role in the citizens' daily life. You:

• become part of a team where we help each other and share tasks
• contribute to a good work environment with humor, helpfulness and good collegial spirit
• create security and presence for citizens with dementia and their relatives through care, support and help in everyday life
• meet citizens with care, patience and a positive view of people
• work with known citizens and fixed routines that create calm and predictability in everyday life
• work with holistic care, where you see the whole person and support the citizen's resources based on an interdisciplinary collaboration.

Who are we?

In Home Care and Nursing our 550 valued employees are spread across 12 districts and 25 teams. You will work together with social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, cleaning staff, nurses, visit coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, team coordinators, cross-cutting pathway coordinators and your district manager.

About you

We expect that you

• are educated as a social- and health care assistant and enjoy creating good everyday life for a citizen with a dementia diagnosis and their relatives.
• can work independently but also value collaboration and sparring with colleagues
• meet citizens, relatives and colleagues with care, respect and presence
• contribute to good collaboration with a curious and questioning approach to each other's differences.

Salary and terms of employment

• Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement
• The position is initially 37 hours per week. By the applicant's initiative, there can be a concrete dialogue about the employment rate
• Fixed day shift and weekend shift every 2nd weekend
• Place of work: Nygade 23C, 6200 Aabenraa
• Start: January 1, 2027 or by agreement

It is not a requirement for the position that you have a driving licence
