About the outreach team and the elderly housing at Ulleruphus

The elderly housing at Ulleruphus is part of the self-governing institution Ulleruphus, where there is a bilingual culture. We have both deaf and hearing residents and staff. We do not require that you have sign language skills before employment.

Ulleruphus consists of 46 elderly housing units and 45 nursing home units within the same building. You will need to work independently both in the building at Ulleruphus and out in the city with citizens in need. Here we are facing an eventual reorganization, where the theme is expected to be merged with another outreach district.

Our staff composition in the elderly housing consists of social and health professionals, nurses and domestic staff. We value each other’s differences and the opportunity to see things from different perspectives, where we keep our core task in focus based on the quality standards that apply.

We expect that you

• are professionally trained for the position you apply for
• have experience with outreach teams
• are reliable in your attendance
• are interested in collaborating with deaf people
• are professionally grounded and curious
• can work independently and responsibly in daily task execution
• dare to think creatively and not “how we always do it”
• want to work holistically within your level of competence
• have a flair for IT and preferably knowledge of KMD Nexus, FS3
• are ready to be trained in special health-related tasks as personally delegated.

Salary and employment conditions

According to the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Criminal record check will be obtained upon employment. Employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of any entries relevant to carrying out the specific position.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

This is a permanent full-time position with work every other weekend in even weeks, where we from 2027 switch to a dialogue-based shift plan.

Start date 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.
