Acting as the Voice of the Customer within LR, you will align colleagues across our functions around the outcomes that matter most to the client. You will bring together cross-functional account teams, turn client needs into compelling solutions and value propositions, and help deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
This is a senior, externally focused role for someone who can operate credibly at C-suite and operational levels, connect long-term strategic goals with disciplined execution, and build trusted-adviser relationships that create lasting value for both the client and LR.
What we offer you
- The opportunity to work for an organization that has a clear mission, is values driven and helps colleagues to develop professionally and personally through our range of people development programmes
- Full-time permanent position
The role
- Develop and implement a One-LR strategy for assigned Strategic Key Accounts, grounded in a thorough understanding of the client’s business, strategy, market, and competitive landscape.
- Build, maintain and communicate a Strategic Key Account plan, including a three-to-five-year vision, short- and medium-term objectives, clear accountabilities, KPIs and performance measures.
- Oversee a collaborative Strategic Account Team, aligning the right capabilities to deliver the account plan and address client needs as they change.
- Act as the customer’s voice within LR, translating clear and emerging needs into shared priorities, practical solutions, and a high-quality customer experience.
- Identify, shape and manage cross-stream growth opportunities, creating bundled solutions and compelling business and financial value propositions that position LR to win.
- Shape commercial strategies that optimize client value, repeat business, growth in market presence, profitability, and cost to serve, enabling long-term win-win results.
- Partner closely with the Executive Sponsor and senior commercial leaders to align objectives, remove barriers, manage risk and maintain momentum against agreed priorities.
- Develop a purposeful relationship plan across executive and operational teams, deepening engagement with key decision-makers and key stakeholders while reducing reliance on any single contact.
- Use effective negotiation and solution-selling approaches to resolve conflict, secure internal alignment and deliver positive outcomes for the client and LR.
- Monitor account performance, client engagement, market developments and competitor activity; maintain accurate records in SFL and use insight to adapt the account strategy and actions.
What you bring
- Established experience handling important accounts, including developing account strategies and translating them into measurable client and commercial gains.
- Sound strategic and commercial judgement, with the ability to balance customer value, growth, profitability, risk and cost to serve.
- Credibility and confidence to engage, persuade, and build trusted relationships across executive, senior leadership, and operational levels.
- A customer-focused mindset, with clear evidence of representing the Voice of the Customer and translating client needs into coordinated action.
- Experience creating business and financial value propositions and shaping solutions across multiple products, services or business areas.
- The ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross-functional virtual teams without relying on direct authority.
- Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market, client, and competitor insights and translate them into clear strategic priorities and actions.
- Highly effective communication skills, along with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and resolve conflicts internally and externally.
- The ability to evaluate complex or unfamiliar situations, make timely decisions, and carry issues through to resolution.
- Personal accountability, initiative and comfort with changing situations, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

- Displays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment
- Responds positively to learning opportunities and is comfortable stepping out of own comfort zone
