Stryhns Group seeks a lab technician for the quality department in Gråsten

We are looking for a new colleague for our quality department in Gråsten as one of our experienced lab technicians retires after many years. Therefore we are looking for a professionally strong quality technician or lab technician who has the desire and drive to continue the good quality work and contribute to the continued development of our quality function.

A versatile role with focus on quality and food safety

As a lab technician you will be an important part of the quality department at the Gråsten factory, where we produce, among other things, Graasten Salads and Jensens Kitchen sauces. You will take on a central role in the daily quality work and collaborate closely with your colleagues in the quality department as well as production and product development.

You will become part of a small team, where your primary tasks will be

• Carry out operational control with a focus on quality and food safety.
• Conduct allergen testing, sensory evaluations, cleaning checks and calibration of equipment.
• Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
• Register, process and report analysis results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and follow-up on quality deviations.
• Maintain and update quality documentation.
• Contribute to HACCP, food safety and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with production about daily operations and deviation results.
• Collaborate with product development on new products and optimization of existing products.
• Support the quality department in internal audits, certifications, complaint handling, validations and deviation management.

Are you the ingredient we are looking for?

We envision that you have a relevant education as a lab technician, process technologist or similar, and that you have 3-5 years of experience with quality control or laboratory work – preferably from the food industry.

You thrive in a production environment where quality, cooperation and food safety are in focus.

In addition, we would like you to

• Work in a structured and systematic way with a good eye for detail.
• Be analytical and have an eye for both causes and solutions.
• Thrive on taking responsibility and working independently.
• Be proactive and take initiative in your approach to tasks.
• Be collaborative and good at building relationships.
• Have strong IT skills and be comfortable with Word, Excel and SAP. Experience with Centuri is an advantage.
• Communicate openly and constructively with colleagues across functions.
