Student assistant for laboratory work and marine analysis

We are seeking a student assistant to assist with analyses of marina samples for the national monitoring program NOVANA.

What you will become part of

The internal laboratory of the Agency for Green Spatial Planning and Water Environment, which is organizationally under the Zealand unit but located on the outskirts of Odense.

The laboratory consists of eight laboratory technicians and a quality officer, and we are thus a small team where constructive communication, collaboration and good humor are important. We solve our tasks efficiently and at the same time focus on the agency's goals and strategies. As the laboratory for the combined marine monitoring, we have a large network and broad insight into the agency's collaboration between the units.

Since we are an accredited testing laboratory, you will also become familiar with what it means to work according to DS/EN ISO/IEC 17025.

The tasks are diverse and include among other things

• Preparation of reagents
• Cleanup and washing after analyses
• Printing of labels
• Reception of goods, including chemicals
• Various driving tasks, including to and from the warehouse (car provided)

We are looking for a student assistant who

• Has a driving license for a car (Category B)
• Has knowledge of laboratory work
• Is responsible, structured and has an eye for detail
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Is flexible and can handle different tasks

We imagine that you are studying biology or another relevant natural science degree.

Terms of employment

You will be employed as an hourly-paid student assistant under the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and OAO (The Public Sector) as well as the corresponding organizational agreement for Office Clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK).

Your place of employment will be the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare with its associated institutions, and the place of service is the Agency for Green Spatial Planning and Water Environment, Unsbjergvej 2C, 5220 Odense SØ.

Working hours are on average 15 hours per week. Fixed meeting days are agreed, but the work is organized flexibly in relation to your teaching and examination periods.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
