In Favrskov Municipality, we are in the process of establishing the Entrance in the Authority for the Elderly. Here, a multidisciplinary team will receive citizens’ inquiries, make the initial assessment, and help the citizen as effectively as possible further already in the first contact.

We are looking for a new colleague for the Entrance, who has broad health-professional knowledge and particularly competencies within the assistive device area.

You will become part of a team of seven employees, where the starting point is that everyone should be able to help citizens with a wide range of inquiries. At the same time, there will be areas that require more specialized knowledge. Here you will have a special role within body-worn and refurbished assistive devices.

This means that you must both want to be a generalist and a specialist: You must be able to handle many different types of inquiries and at the same time be the colleague who contributes with assistive-device professional knowledge.

Your tasks

You will be part of the joint task-solving in the Entrance and should among other things

• receive and map inquiries from citizens, relatives and collaboration partners
• advise and guide on possibilities for help under the Social Services Act, the Health Act and the Elderly Act
• handle and close smaller and uncomplicated inquiries
• ensure that citizens with a need for further assessment or help are guided well further
• referral to body-worn devices and refurbished assistive devices
• contribute with special assistive-device knowledge and sparring for your colleagues
• contribute to joint task-solving and development of a consistent practice in the Entrance.

We are looking for you who

• have a relevant health-professional background and solid knowledge of the assistive device area
• have experience with assessment or guidance regarding body-worn devices and refurbished assistive devices
• are interested in working broadly with inquiries under the Social Services Act, Health Act and Elderly Act
• are good at talking with people and can create structure in a conversation
• can ask relevant questions and translate the citizen’s information into a professional assessment
• can work independently and make decisions within your competence area
• are curious and want to develop professionally in areas that lie outside your current specialty
• share your knowledge and actively contribute to your colleagues’ competence development
• thrive in a workday where the tasks and citizens’ inquiries vary
• have good oral and written communication skills.

Practical information

The position is, as a rule, full-time with expected start date 1 January 2027. Your workplace is Hadsten Health Center, Hovvej 76, 8370 Hadsten.

It is a condition of the position that you have a driving license for a passenger car.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation.
