Surveyor for larger civil engineering projects

We have won a larger civil engineering contract for the expansion of Route 15 between Ringkøbing and Herning and are therefore looking for a surveyor who wants to be close to the practical execution.

The position is not project-limited, and you will also have tasks on the company’s other contracts.

The position is essentially full-time, but other arrangements can be made.

THE JOB

The majority of your work will take place out on our construction sites.

Your main task will be to ensure that stakes are placed correctly and measured correctly so that our people have the necessary basis to perform the work.

You will among other things work with

• Stake out of roads, cables, manholes, structures, terrain, etc.
• Surveying of completed work
• Control measurements
• Documentation of performed works
• Surveying in connection with quantities and settlement
• Ongoing collaboration with project managers, foremen and machine operators
• Processing and preparation of measurement data as needed

If you have interest and ability for it, there may also be opportunities to work with quantity calculations, 3D data and machine control data. However, this is not the most important part of the role.

The most important thing is that you want to be outdoors, move around on the site and be part of the daily production.

YOUR PROFILE

We imagine that you have experience with surveying from the civil engineering sector or other relevant practical experience.

We do not require a specific education. You could be a surveying technician, mapping and surveying technician, have another technical background or have learned the trade through practical work.

Experience with GPS/GNSS and total station is of course an advantage.

Experience with data processing, quantity calculation and machine control is also positive, but not decisive.
