For Syddjurs Bo- og Aktivitetstilbud (SyBA) at Tendrup Møllevej 115 B in Hornslet we are looking for welcoming and engaged on-call substitutes who want to become part of a professionally strong team with a close collegial community.

Are you a warm and caring person with an interest in working with citizens who have cognitive and social challenges as a result of an acquired brain injury? Then we need you in our professional community at Tendrup Møllevej, a residential facility for adults with acquired brain injury.

Your competencies

It may be that you are or wish to become a student within care and social sciences. Or perhaps you are a pedagogue, social- and health care assistant, social- and health care helper or something else.

Working with us gives you a good opportunity to acquire relevant competencies within the social and healthcare field. You are passionate about collaborating with citizens and providing personal care and nursing. In our department there are many care tasks, so you will have the chance to learn a lot about personal hygiene. Here the citizen's motivation is also crucial.

You are able to focus on the company of people who are challenged by their brain injury. This can include that they get tired easily, have memory problems or challenges with planning, orientation, recall and overview. In addition, they may have difficulties expressing themselves verbally and understanding others, and may experience changes in personality.

Citizens need support and help to experience a meaningful everyday life based on their own life history, interests and network.

We have room for 15 citizens in the residential facility, of whom 3 live in independent apartments. The citizens are aged 47-71 years.

Our professional approach to the citizens

We work with a high degree of interdisciplinarity based on neuro-pedagogical thinking and methods from KRAP ( K ognitiv, R essource-focused, A cknowledge P ractice), which is our joint professional approach to the citizens.

You will become part of a strong and professionally competent team with engaged and positive colleagues, a good work environment and good opportunities for professional development.

In the department there are employees with different professional backgrounds, including social pedagogues, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care helpers, occupational therapists and nurses.

Working hours

With us you are needed for day, evening, night and weekend shifts. Therefore it is an advantage if you enjoy changing working hours.
