Nurse for the municipal home care in the Galten care district

The municipal nursing in Care District Galten is seeking a nurse for a temporary position of 8 months

Now you have the chance to get to know municipal nursing. We have a vacant 8-month temporary position, where you will become part of the nursing team and the cross-disciplinary teams.

The nursing team consists of 13 nurses + a planner, who covers the municipal nursing in the Health Clinic and citizens' homes. In addition, there are 2 center nurses attached to our care centers.

We work 5-6 evening shifts over 12 weeks - with the possibility to request more. There will be a weekend shift every 6th week. The position can be 30-37 hours - according to your wishes.

We have many exciting focus/development initiatives underway

• Development of our Health Clinic. Citizens in need of nursing, predominantly, come to the clinic
• Continued development of teamwork in the cross-disciplinary teams consisting of social- and health care assistants, nurses, therapists and visitator
• Use of screen visits and other welfare technology
• Medication initiative, where more citizens switch to dose-packaged medicine
• Focus on nursing documentation, a new common thread
• Development of our key roles, where their knowledge is used across several professional groups through, among other things, various nursing-themed topics and focus weeks
• Focus on the rehabilitative approach in nursing as part of care and nursing pathways

The nursing service works under the Health Act and contributes to team collaboration with work around the new Elderly Act. The aim is to give the elderly citizen a life marked by as much joy, self-reliance, care and presence, based on each individual life situation and needs.

Holistic care is a key concept in the Elderly Act, and it is about seeing the whole person - social, mental and physical well-being. We offer help and care as a cohesive and inclusive care and nursing process.
