Nurse for Dybvad and Østervrå Nursing Care

Are you a nurse and considering trying new challenges, then we have an exciting job for you in the nursing group in Dybvad and Østervrå.

If you would like to try working in a smaller nursing group in a rural area, we can, on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter, offer you a position as primary nurse in Dybvad.

The position is initially 37 hours per week, but part-time is also possible. You will mainly work day shifts, but evening shifts will also occur. You will work every 4th weekend. We are a small well-functioning group that helps each other and we place a premium on a very good working environment.

The field-based nursing group covers a larger geographic area around Dybvad, Syvsten, Præstbro, Voerså, Lyngså and Østervrå. The nursing group works closely with Dybvad and Østervrå Home Care in fixed teams, and you will play a decisive role in joint morning meetings, midday meetings, and cross-disciplinary triage. There are bases at Dybvad Elderly Center and at Østervrå Elderly Center, where there will be meetings at both addresses. We also have a nursing clinic, managed by both nurses and social and health care assistants.

Collaboration and interdisciplinarity are a big part of our daily life, and you will have a close collaboration with your colleagues and with our care group and other partners. You should actively participate in daily sparring about our citizens together with the care group and contribute with your professional skills and competences. You must be able to delegate basic nursing tasks to the care group and take responsibility for following up on these as well as contribute to competence development and supervision.

We expect you to work from a rehabilitative mindset, where the aim is to support citizens’ ability to act so that they achieve as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

Who are we looking for

You may have a nursing background from hospital or home care with a minimum of 2 years of experience, but this is not a requirement.

The job requires that you can handle complex tasks, make independent decisions and maintain overview in pressured situations. You must be a good role model for the other staff.

How should your introduction take place

You will be assigned a mentor and receive an introduction program tailored to your qualifications. If you are newly qualified we will take this into account and provide thorough training. Your mentor will help you go through the introduction and be your sparring partner for the initial period.
