System administrator for Microsoft 365

Would you like to help shape Ballerup Municipality's digital workplace?

As the system owner for Microsoft 365 you will play a key role in developing the organization's digital capabilities, inspiring a strong power user network and ensuring that new solutions create value in everyday work.

Your main tasks

As the system owner for Microsoft 365 you support the organization with a good and value-creating use of the platform's many possibilities. This happens through close collaboration with power users, who play a central role in anchoring new workflows and supporting colleagues' use of the platform in everyday work. You also contribute to skills development through teaching and dissemination of best practices in using M365 apps, such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.

You are responsible for projects focused on the implementation and adoption of M365 apps, so that digital possibilities are translated into concrete improvements for employees and citizens. Additionally you handle license administration and user cases at the second level. The tasks are carried out across the other teams in Digitalization, particularly within AI, IT security and GDPR, so that development takes place on a safe and compliant basis.

The technical operation of Microsoft 365 is managed by IT-Forsyningen, which is a cross-municipal §60 company that provides IT operations to the municipalities of Allerød, Ballerup, Egedal, Fredensborg, Furesø and Hørsholm. An important part of the role is therefore a close collaboration with IT-Forsyningen and the other owner municipalities on operations, governance and the continued development of the platform. In this way you are the link between business, users and technology.

Your competences

We value that you have

• 3-5 years of experience in bringing the M365 platform into play in relation to organizational needs in a larger public organization or equivalent
• A desire to be curious about current processes and the ability to implement changes in the way we work
• An understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to translate technical settings into practical usage possibilities for users
• Experience with governance and framing for the M365 platform
• Experience with carrying out projects and initiatives
• Strong communication skills in Danish, both written and spoken, and experience with knowledge sharing and communication in larger organizations
• A focus on creating and developing good collaborative relationships with colleagues and partners

Who we are

You will become part of the Digital Operations and IT Architecture team, which handles role and rights management (IDM), system ownership for cross-cutting systems, IT architecture and technical implementation. In addition, the team handles the role of Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for IT-Forsyningen.

The team belongs to the Digitalization division, which consists of 34 employees covering competencies from organizational and process development to law, IT development and data. We have an open and welcoming collaboration, where we involve and help each other in solving cross-cutting tasks.

Digitalization is part of the Center for Politics and Organization, which consists of the following departments: Digitalization, HR and Organizational Development, Political Secretariat and City Archive. The center has about 100 employees.

Employment process and salary

Start date is 1 February 2027.

We expect to hold 1st interviews on 2 November 2026 and 2nd interviews on 8 November 2026. In the 2nd interview a relevant everyday case is included.

The position is initially 37 hours and a permanent appointment.

Application deadline: 29 November 2026.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for academics in municipalities or according to the collective agreement for administrative staff in municipalities.

Employment is based on local pay-setting principles and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the academic position is 41,154 DKK – 59,175 DKK per month at full-time employment (37 hours per week), and for administrative staff it is 41,154 DKK – 55,667 DKK per month at full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is determined after negotiations between the employer and the trade union that has the right to negotiate in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
