System administrator for the central ServiceNow team

Would you like to help ensure that the IT organization in the Region of Southern Denmark delivers efficient and stable service every day and takes responsibility for the operation and development of our ServiceNow platform? Then you have the chance now.

In the Basis Platform function area, we focus on daily management and development of a range of basic and supporting IT systems and platforms that match users' needs. The function area mainly consists of product managers and other specialists who have broad contact with colleagues both internally and at the hospital units.

In the Basis Platform function area you will, together with skilled colleagues, be responsible for managing and developing our central ServiceNow solution, which supports a large number of IT processes in the Region of Southern Denmark.

Your primary tasks

As a ServiceNow system administrator, you will play a central role in operating and managing the platform in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across Regional IT. Your tasks will include, among others:

• System administration and operation: Daily administration of the platform, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
• License management: Ongoing administration of licenses, roles, and permissions
• Task coordination: Receiving and coordinating tasks that must be solved by affiliated internal and external developers
• Support and incident coordination: Solving technical problems in the system and acting as a liaison for major outages
• Process optimization: Contributing to the development of our ITIL processes in close collaboration with nearest colleagues, including adapting flows, templates and forms
• Project management of smaller initiatives: Drive and own smaller platform initiatives, ensuring involvement of relevant parties and execution.

In addition, you will have responsibility for the governance of the internally developed mobile app, SydSupport. The task accounts for about 5-10% of your time and includes, among other things, ensuring that the app works and meets security requirements, prioritizing development tasks, involving users in prioritization and handling financial follow-up.

Professional qualifications

We emphasize that you

• have experience with system administration – preferably as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• have solid knowledge of ITIL and IT operations processes in practice
• have a relevant IT education or equivalent experience where you have worked with both technical and business-facing tasks
• can deliver results through good collaborative relationships and disciplined task management.

Salary and terms of employment

This is a full-time position at 37 hours per week.

You will have an workplace in Vejle or Odense.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible or no later than 1 February 2027.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement between Danish Regions and the relevant professional organization.

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the advertised position. You will be told the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension. Besides the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

You will be employed under one of the following agreements depending on your educational background:

Academics – Agreement 33.01.1

Agreement for Administration and IT personnel, etc. - 32.01.1

Crafts workers, installers, electronic technicians, etc. – Agreement 32.23.1
